A Cultural Treasure

Granada is Nicaragua's Oldest colonial city, located on the shores of Lago de Nicaragua, it is also the modern day tourism capital of the country.

Calle La Calzada

where commerce meets Leisure

The bustling promenade is one of the busiest streets in the city, ideal for dining, drinks or shopping. Street entertainers perform for the crowds on this  pedestrian corridor.

Parque Central

the heart of the city

Central park is Granada's public square, a place to see and be seen. Sit and relax on a park bench, sip an espresso from an adjacent cafe or catch a ride with one of the many horse-drawn carriages that line the streets surrounding the park.

Natural Splendor

Laguna de Apollo is a natural marvel; a lagoon fed entirely by underground springs. The waters of the Laguna are said to have healing properties and the landscape is lush and tropical.

Laguna Beach

Your private lot on the shore of the Laguna

A private beach nestled in amongst the foliage on the shores of a volcanic crater turned spring-fed mineral water lagoon; Laguna beach is secluded but not remote, only a 20 minute drive from Granada and 40 minutes from Managua. A truly unspoiled landscape and an opportunity not to be missed!

Lakefront Dining

enjoy the sights from a local establishment

There are several local bars and restaurants around the laguna, hang out on the beach at the local hostel, have a drink at one of the typical cantinas or take in the view at the top of the volcanic crater in the neighboring town of Caterina.

 salinas grandes

Tranquil, Beachfront Living

Salinas Grandes is one of the last stretches of undeveloped coastline along the tropical pacific. It is a nature reserve home to a turtle breeding ground and a bird sanctuary.

Turtle Sanctuary

Pacific coast breeding grounds

Salinas Grandes is home to a protected stretch of beach where sea turtle come to lay their eggs. While consumption of turtle eggs is common in Nicaragua, there are actions being taken to protect the existing population and Salinas is one of the few places one can witness the unobstructed hatching of young turtles.

Surf Destination

Big waves and serene coast line

One of the last remote surf destinations on the pacific coast, the beach is everything you would expect from a surfer's paradise: fine sand, big waves and breathtaking sunsets.
